Perranporth is a favourite destination for families looking for their ideal family holiday.  The beach extends to over three miles of golden sand on which to play and explore.  The beach backs on to dunes on one side, and up onto cliffs and the coast path towards St Agnes on the other, with wonderful walks in either direction.  The beach also has many rock-pools to play in, with the tidal pool at Chapel Rocks a safe place for children to swim.  The beach is a favourite for surfers and is life-guarded all through the summer months.

Perranporth has lots of things to see and do. Surf-lessons are available on the beach, or for something a little gentler, there is a boating lake in the village (seasonal).  There is a bowling green, tennis courts and an 18-hole golf course many think is one of the finest in the county.  Beach and evening horse-rides along the beach are very popular, and for a real high – why not take a leisure flight and see the whole area from the air?  Flights and tandem parachute jumps are available from the local airfield.  Perranporth even has its own Museum which depicts the history of the town from its roots as a small fishing and mining village to a bustling holiday resort.

Just a Car Ride Away....

Transvaal House is ideally situated as is only a short drive from the main arterial road of Cornwall.  Thus it is easy to access most Cornish tourist destinations with ease.

Local Attractions

The Cornish Cider Farm and the home of Callestick Ice Cream are 5 minutes up the road (thecornishcyderfarm.co.uk)

The picturesque village of St Agnes is only 3 miles along the coast and many guests chose to walk the scenic coast path, though it would be advisable to keep dogs on leads for parts of this as there are some shear cliffs.
